Vivace Award and Scholarship
A major plaque awarded at the Final Band and Choir Concerts and a scholarship awarded at the Valedictory Ceremony) to students who are not necessarily studying music in post-secondary education, but who embody the spirit of the music program by:
Subject Awards
Junior Music (8-10) Overall and Senior (11-12) Music Overall
A Major Plaque Awarded at the Night of Recognition to students who are outstanding musicians,
whose achievement in music is exemplary and who elevate his or her ensemble.
Such achievements may include: outstanding marks in his or her music classes; playing or singing in the BCMEA Provincial Honour Ensembles or the NVSD Honour Band or Orchestra; seeking private instruction or outside-of-school enrichment opportunities (ensembles, camps, masterclasses, etc.); seeking opportunities to perform solos or other roles of musical leadership; learning a secondary instrument; and taking music courses in multiple disciplines (band and choir, concert and jazz).

A Major Plaque Awarded at the Night of Recognition to students who are not only strong musicians, but whose contributions extend well beyond their playing or singing.
Such contributions may include: volunteer work, teaching assisting, involvement in the Seycove Music Students’ Association, seeking private instruction or outside-of-school enrichment opportunities (ensembles, camps, masterclasses, etc.); helping younger students; being especially helpful at concerts and in the program in general.
Most Improved Junior Musician and Most Improved Senior Musician
A plaque and trophy presented at the Final Band and Choir Concerts to students who have demonstrated remarkable improvement within the year on their voice or instrument.

- Generously giving of his or her time for the benefit of all students in the program;
- Being encouraging and inclusive of others and respectful of the goals of the program;

A plaque and trophy presented at the Final Band Concert to a student in the Music Composition 11/12 class who produced outstanding original work and contributed much to the positive and productive atmosphere of the class.
Graduation Pens
Each year, graduating students are presented with a keepsake pen, imprinted with Seycove Music and their graduation year, as a memento of the program.
